1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address and password.
• Birth details: date, time and place of birth that you enter to generate kundli, matching and readings.
• Consultation data: chat messages and call metadata between you and Experts.
• Payment information: processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of payment but do not store your card or bank details.
• Usage data: device, browser and interaction information collected automatically.

2. How we use your information

• To provide consultations, generate charts and readings, and process wallet payments and payouts.
• To verify your identity, secure your account and prevent fraud.
• To improve our services and communicate important updates.

3. How we share information

• Experts you consult can see the messages and the birth/consultation details you share with them for that consultation.
• Service providers that help us operate the platform, including Supabase (database & authentication), Razorpay (payments), Resend (email), 100ms (voice calls) and Anthropic (AI-assisted readings). Birth-chart data sent for an AI reading is processed to generate that reading and is not used to identify you.
• Legal: where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Data retention & security

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations. We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit and access controls to protect your data, though no system is completely secure.

You may access, correct or request deletion of your personal information, and you may close your account at any time, by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Children

GetAstro is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
